Who We Are
Doug Fir Operations was founded by Ben Dickinson in 2023.
He has over a decade of experience in the heavy equipment and mechatronic industries, working across North and South America, Europe, and China. He specializes in helping manufacturing companies improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase throughput.
His expertise spans strategic operations planning, lean manufacturing, process optimization, and supply chain development.
In previous roles, he led key initiatives such as establishing manufacturing capabilities in Brazil, passing the PPAP process for Toyota, and designing and supporting high-volume assembly lines.
Now, as an operations consultant, he offers a range of services including operations strategy development, cultivating a culture of quality, aligning team culture with company values, and streamlining merger integrations.
He’s passionate about business processes and setting up teams to execute them and am committed to helping companies achieve their operational goals and drive sustainable growth.
